The Passionata box spring base (Pockets) is a built-in box spring with pocket springs, made to measure for The Loft bed from our collection. It turns your bed into a box spring bed with stable sleeping comfort. As it is a base only, you add a mattress on top.
Construction and support
Pocket springs give good support and reduce movement while you sleep, so your night's rest is more settled than with traditional box spring systems. The robust construction is designed to last up to 20 years.
The base is 20 cm high, on average 10 cm higher than a standard slatted base or spring base, which makes getting in and out of bed easier. Because the support structure is designed in from the start, no extra legs are needed. The base is supplied in the colour Nika taupe 12.
Who it is for
The Passionata is for anyone who wants a box spring with pocket springs in their Loft bed. Unlike the Cleo, it has pocket springs rather than Bonell springs. The Elanza has 7-zone pocket springs and is 30 cm high; at 20 cm, the Passionata is the lower version.
