Mattress protectors
A mattress protector goes on top of your mattress to protect it during everyday use. Whether you go for a waterproof one or one that is mainly soft and breathable depends on who sleeps in the bed and on which mattress. Our three models all have a cotton cover and a 30 cm fitted skirt that keeps them in place.

Waterproof or simply soft?
Start by asking whether you need protection against moisture. In a family home or a guest room, that often gives extra peace of mind. The Opale Waterproof mattress protector has a breathable layer on the underside that makes it waterproof, while on top you simply lie on cotton. There is no plastic feel at all, and your mattress is fully protected against moisture.
Soft and breathable
If you do not need a waterproof layer, it is mainly about comfort. The Opale Premium is quilted and reversible, with a Lyocell filling. It feels soft and does not shift or crease. The Microcell Comfort is the affordable choice: a cotton cover with a filling of Lyocell and Fibertex, for a pleasant sleeping climate.
Which mattress protector suits your mattress?
Always choose the same size as your mattress. If you have a latex or memory foam mattress, ideally go for the Opale Premium. This protector is particularly well suited to them. If you are about to buy a mattress, choose the protector at the same time. That way your new mattress is protected from the very first night.
Frequently asked questions
Does a waterproof mattress protector feel like plastic?
Not the Opale. The waterproof layer is on the underside, beneath a cover of 100% Sanfor cotton. Thanks to Lyocell and Tencel, the protector feels soft and natural, and it stays breathable. It has no unpleasant, synthetic feel.
Will a mattress protector fit a deep mattress?
All three have a 30 cm fitted skirt. The one on the Opale Premium is elastic and fits around mattresses up to 28 cm deep. That is plenty for our Elite mattress, for example, which is 24.5 cm deep.
Which sizes are available?
The protectors are available for single and double mattresses, in 90 × 200, 140 × 200, 160 × 200 and 180 × 200 cm. If you have a different size, please get in touch with us. You will also find pillows and duvets in our other bedding.
