The Cleo box spring base (Bonell) is a built-in box spring for our metal and wooden bed frames. It sits inside the bed frame and turns your bed into a box spring bed with a firm, durable base. As with any box spring base, you then add a mattress of your choice on top.
Construction and support
The Cleo is built with 5-turn Bonell springs, a classic spring system that provides firm, durable support. The construction is designed to last 20 years.
The base is 20 cm high, so you sleep higher up, which makes getting in and out of bed easier. The Cleo is made to measure so that it fits the bed frame exactly, and it is supplied in the colour Nika taupe 12.
Who it is for
The Cleo is for anyone who wants to turn a metal or wooden bed from our collection into a box spring bed with firm sleeping comfort and a higher entry height. This is the version with Bonell springs. If you prefer pocket springs, choose the Passionata, or the Elanza for The Loft canopy bed. The Cleo is available in widths from 70 to 120 cm and lengths of 200, 210 or 220 cm.
