My husband has been overweight for years because of an illness. In the past, we had several beds that we ended up throwing away after a few years because they had sagged or broken.
I spent a long time looking for a good, sturdy bed, but I also love a beautiful interior. That made the search even harder, because in furniture showrooms everything looked the same and nothing appealed to me.

As far as I can remember, all they had to do was add a few extra support beams. Apart from that, the bed is just as it was designed.
Recently, after 10 years, we had to replace the mattress. We took the opportunity to move the bed downstairs, because my husband now finds the stairs difficult.
