This bed is put together with the utmost care to provide you with years of comfortable nights. The structure under your mattress is at least as important as the mattress itself. Below is a detailed explanation of the different bed bases we offer.
Standard Bed Base: Reliable Basis for Every Bedroom
This bed features thoughtful construction, with carefully designed headboard and footboard. The standard bed base consists of two sturdy support beams on which your slatted base rests comfortably. This construction is designed for a total weight of up to 240 kg.
For optimum stability, the side panels have sturdy L-shaped profiles on which the support beams can rest securely. The bed frame has a standard height of 18 cm, which ensures a perfect ergonomic sleeping height in combination with your mattress.
Adjustable Sleep Height
An important feature of this bed is that the sleeping height is adjustable in two different positions by means of the adjustable L-profiles. The standard sleeping height of the bed is 27 cm from the floor to the top of the frame.
Reinforced Bed Frame: Extra Support for Extra Comfort
For couples with a combined weight above 240 kg, or for those who simply want extra strength, we offer a reinforced bed frame. This option increases the load capacity to as much as 350 kg by adding a third support beam in the middle of the bed.
Please note that this reinforced construction is not compatible with most electric slatted bases, since the third support beam is placed where the motors of electric systems are normally located.
Special Frame for Electric Slatted Beds: Technology and Comfort United
For fans of electrically adjustable slatted bases, we have developed a special frame construction. With this option, we move the two support beams toward the head and footboard, creating space for the mechanical components of your electrically slatted base.
To ensure optimal support, we provide the sides with additional L-profiles that support your electric slatted base in the middle. In addition, we place one central support leg in the absolute center of the bed for maximum stability.
This thoughtful construction ensures that you can enjoy all the comfort that an electrically adjustable slatted base has to offer without compromising on stability and durability.
Calculate Your Total Sleep Height
The overall sleeping height of your bed is determined by three components:
- The height of the bed frame (standard 27 cm)
- The thickness of the slatted base
- The thickness of the mattress
Example calculation
For example, if you combine this bed with the Ferrobiflex 800 slatted base with a thickness of 13 cm and an All in One Original mattress with a thickness of 23 cm, you arrive at a total sleeping height of:
27 cm (bed frame) + 13 cm (slatted base) + 23 cm (mattress) = 63 cm
This calculation helps you get a good idea of the final height of your bed in advance, so you can determine if it fits your personal preference and physical needs.
