My husband and I have a broad interest in art. My husband makes paintings and I make sculptures.
We appreciate beautiful things. Objects made with love, where the soul of the creator is in them and where you can discover the splendor of the creation.
We also select our furniture based on honest craftsmanship.
For example, 13 years ago we bought a handmade wrought iron bed from FerroBellissimo. Made in Italy by a blacksmith with an old coal-fired forge. We were just on vacation at Lake Garda in Italy when our bed was made. The folks at FerroBellissimo were kind enough to arrange for us to go see the forge in Como during the making process.
We are never going to forget that. Often, as we settle into our beautiful bed we still think back to that visit and the way in which that blacksmith made our bed with skill. For us, a unique vacation souvenir.
