Several years ago I was looking for a new bed because my box spring bed started to sag after only 6 years. Since I weigh more than average I started looking for beds that don't sag as easily.

I never thought I would ever buy a metal bed. Personally, I like a very clean minimalist interior. For me, metal beds were synonymous with curls and classic. That wasn't my thing.
