It must have been 2010 or 2011 that we found ourselves in the showroom of FerroBellissimo.
I remember the saleswoman was an Italian lady and she talked full of praise about the wrought iron beds made in Italy.
My husband and I had been looking for such a nice bed. When I used to stay over at my grandmother's, I was always allowed to sleep in a very beautiful iron bed there.
I had such fond memories of it that I have always wanted a bed like that.
For years I searched for the bed similar to the model that was at my grandmother's. When I saw FerroBellissimo's website, I knew immediately. Not quite the same, but the resemblance was great.
The lady in the showroom was very helpful and worked with me to make some adjustments to the design so it would look even more like my grandmother's bed.
Now, so many years later, I am still very satisfied with our bed. What makes it special is that it was made especially for us, with the "little" modifications. Meanwhile, my daughter also bought a metal bed FerroBellissimo. Very different and modern, but it fits her home perfectly. It's one of those things that with us apparently pass from generation to generation.
