My husband has been overweight for years due to illness. We have had several beds in the past that we could throw away after a few years because they sagged or broke.
I looked for a long time for a good, sturdy bed, but I also like a nice interior. That's why the search was more difficult because in the showrooms of furniture stores everything looked alike and it didn't appeal to me.
At FerroBellissimo we then bought a metal bed 10 years ago. In consultation with the person in charge of production, the bed was modified so that it was suitable to carry a higher weight.
As far as I can remember, they only had to install some additional support beams. Otherwise, the bed has remained original.
We recently had to replace the mattress after 10 years. We then took the opportunity to move the bed downstairs because my husband still has difficulty climbing stairs. The people at FerroBellissimo did a great job helping us with that when they came to deliver the new mattress. For me, this is still a beautiful bed and it fits perfectly into our timeless interior.
